Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon

Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 2: Lisbon City Tour

Visit the Belem Pastries Factory with a tasting of traditional Pastel de Belem with Port wine. Visit the Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower. Discover significant events in the history of Lisbon from the perspective of Jewish communities, including maritime trade, forced conversion, the Inquisition, and the daily life of World War II refugees. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 3: Lisbon - Costa Azul - Lisbon

Cross the Bridge 25 of April and visit the Monument of Christ-King (Cristo-Rei). Visit a centenary cellar in Azeitao with wine tasting. Drive around the beautiful Arrabida Natural Park along the Atlantic Coast. Visit a ceramics factory at Palmela where you can paint your own tile. Return to Lisbon over the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe at 17.2 km. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 4: Lisbon - Fatima - Obidos - Nazare - Batalha - Alcobaca

Visit Fatima, city of the 1917 apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds. Visit the Monastery of Batalha, an impressive 14th-century Gothic masterpiece. Visit Nazare, a traditional fishermen village on the Atlantic Coast. Visit the Monastery of Alcobaca with the famous tombs of Ines de Castro and King Peter. Visit Obidos, a medieval village with tasting of “Ginjinha” liquor. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 5: Lisbon - Sintra Glamour - Lisbon

Visit the Queluz National Palace, representative of 18th-century court life. Drive to Sintra, a romantic UNESCO World Heritage town. Visit the Palace of Sintra and the Pena Palace, considered one of the “Seven Wonders of Portugal.” Pass by Guincho Beach to visit Cascais, a charming fishermen’s harbour, and Estoril with Europe’s largest casino. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 6: Lisbon at Leisure

Free day to explore Lisbon on your own. Optional: Dinner and Fado night show in a traditional Lisbon restaurant. Optional city tour including Alfama, Graca viewpoints, Monastery of Saint Vincent, and National Pantheon. Overnight: Lisbon

Day 7: Back Home

Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
