Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 (Sunday): Welcome to Israel

Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport. Meet and assist, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 2 (Monday): Caesarea / Muhraka / Megiddo / Acre

Drive north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, the Roman capital of the region. Continue to Muhraka, the site of Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal. Visit Megiddo (Armageddon), the ancient battlefield mentioned in Revelation. End the day in Acre (Akko), the beautifully preserved Crusader City. Overnight: Tiberias area

Day 3 (Tuesday): Tiberias / Capernaum / Banias

Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and see the ancient Jesus Boat. Visit Capernaum with its ancient synagogue, Tabgha (site of the miracle of loaves and fishes), and the Mount of Beatitudes. Drive to the Golan Heights and visit Banias (Caesarea Philippi). Overnight: Tiberias area

Day 4 (Wednesday): Cana / Nazareth / Bet She’an

Visit Cana, site of the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle. Continue to Nazareth to see the Church of the Annunciation. Stop at the Jordan River baptismal site. Visit Bet She’an, the impressive Roman city. Overnight: Jerusalem area

Day 5 (Thursday): Jerusalem Old City

Ascend the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit King David’s Tomb and the Upper Room on Mount Zion. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Garden Tomb. Overnight: Jerusalem area

Day 6 (Friday): Jerusalem New City / Bethlehem

Visit Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist. Tour Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial. Visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. Overnight: Jerusalem area

Day 7 (Saturday): Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea

Drive through the Judean Desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue to Masada, King Herod’s mountain fortress (ascend by cable car). Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, for a floating experience. Overnight: Jerusalem area

Day 8 (Sunday): Shalom Israel

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
